Weather Software

I've been looking into the various weather softwares available, and quite honestly am a little overwhelmed. Here's what I've found so far:

Softwares:
Gibson Ridge GRLevelX
Stormlab
WeatherTap
F5Data
Weather Defender
Weather Studio
Nexrad3
WeatherBug Pro
Baron Vipir/ThreatNet (Pro Stuff - Expensive)

Data Feeds:
Allison House (Level 2/3 doppler +other (paid))
Michigan WX System (Level 2/3 doppler +other (paid))
NOAA (Level 3 free)

So I'm trying to figure out what the best combo of price/performance within reason, for a weather enthusiast that lives in a very weather heavy area. Obviously I don't need Baron stuff, and I think I can get by just fine with the level 3 data, but I just want something more than the free stuff available on the web. Does anyone here have any experience with any of these?

I've heard lots of good stuff about GRLevelX, with the only downside being that if I ever wanted to use level 2 data I would have to buy it again.
