Severe Weather Outbreak Possible

...A MAJOR SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK IS EXPECTED SATURDAY...

THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY NIGHT AS A
WARM...MOIST...AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS ENGULFS THE REGION. IT IS
STILL FAIRLY UNCERTAIN AS TO WHETHER STORMS WILL DEVELOP DURING
THIS TIME FRAME...BUT THOSE THAT DO HAVE A GOOD SHOT OF BECOMING
SEVERE GIVEN THE STRONG WIND SHEAR PRESENT. LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

A LARGER SEVERE THREAT WILL UNFOLD LATE SATURDAY MORNING AND
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...WHEN A SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK IS EXPECTED. A
RAPIDLY STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK NORTHEAST
ACROSS EASTERN ARKANSAS SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THIS SYSTEM WILL
ENHANCE THE WIND SHEAR...SO THUNDERSTORMS COULD TORNADOES...
LARGE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS...IN ADDITION TO FLASH FLOODING.

THE SEVERE THREAT WILL QUICKLY DIMINISH EARLY SATURDAY EVENING.

STRONG NON-THUNDERSTORM WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED SATURDAY AFTERNOON
WITH WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 45 MPH POSSIBLE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

THE ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS...HAM RADIO OPERATORS...AND
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL IN SUPPORT OF SEVERE WEATHER
OPERATIONS MAY BE NEEDED FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...
AND WILL BE NEEDED SATURDAY

Well, this is a nice side benefit to asking off for a friend's birthday.

We'll see how much actually develops. :D

To all the furs in Middle Tenneessee, Alabama, and Mississippi, please be ready to take shelter. When the SPC is predicting significant severe weather this far out in the forecast, it usually happens just the way they predict it. Stay safe guys. Deyna and I want to see you at RCFM!
